The International Concours d'Elegance at Wheels Mariënwaerdt 2026 is over. The jury named a 1948 Delage D6, bodied by the Hague coachbuilder Pennock, Best of Show. The same car also won its class, the '50s Convertibles. The public's award went to a 1958 AC Aceca.
The Concours d'Elegance is the heart of Wheels Mariënwaerdt. The event grew out of the Concours d'Elegance Paleis Het Loo, founded in 1999, and every year brings together a selected field of exceptional classics. This year three anniversaries took centre stage: 120 years of Lancia, 100 years of Touring Superleggera and 80 years of Bristol.
Lancia in particular made its mark. Besides the class win for a Flaminia Coupé 2.5, four more awards went to the marque, from the 1919 Lancia Kappa to the 1991 Delta HF Integrale. The Triumph Italia 2000 also won twice, as class winner among the sports cars of the sixties and as winner of the Most Travelled Distance Award.
The jury chose one winner per class. In addition, nine awards were presented, and the visitors chose their own favourite.
