A Concours d'Elegance, which means “competition of elegance”, is a prestigious automotive event where classic and vintage cars are judged for beauty, elegance and restoration quality. Originally started in 17th-century France, these events today celebrate the rich history and aesthetic development of automobiles around the world.
The Concours d'Elegance is a highlight of Wheels Mariënwaerdt, an event that brings together classic beauty and modern technology. This competition showcases a wide range of rare and beautifully maintained cars, from historic classics to the latest supercars. At each edition of Wheels Mariënwaerdt, an international jury assesses the participating vintage cars. There are several awards, but the most important is, of course, the Best of Show. In previous editions, the participants below won this prestigious award.Since 2023, a Best of Show has also been released on today's and future cars. Which cars do you prefer? You can think about this in advance, as you will also have the opportunity to vote on this.
In 2025, we will add an exciting dimension to Wheels Mariënwaerdt: the introduction of a brand new audience award. This award is given to the car in the Concours d'Elegance that conquers the hearts of our visiting audience and collecting the most votes.
