The atmosphere of Classic Cars
What makes Wheels Mariënwaerdt unique is that it brings together the past, present, and future. The atmosphere surrounding classic cars will never fade; enjoying a drive in a convertible, wearing a thick leather jacket and a 'Peaky Blinders' cap – pure bliss!
For over 10 years, classic car dealers have been present at Wheels Mariënwaerdt with a fine collection, as a dealer would say: not for show, but for sale. Annually, around 250 classic cars and youngtimers are available for purchase. The mix of exclusive cars and entry-level models makes this a fantastic and lively part of the event.

Bristol, daughter of an aircraft manufacturer

Although England, as one of the Allied nations, victoriously survived World War II, after 1945 it had to revive an economically depleted aviation and automotive industry. From this situation, aircraft manufacturer Bristol conceived the idea of taking up car production. This resulted in the Bristol 400, a sporty model featuring a pre-war 1971 cc six-cylinder engine of 80 hp, designed by Fritz Fiedler and licensed from BMW. Utilizing Bristol's aerodynamic expertise, streamlined Bristol models – the 403, 404, and 405 – subsequently emerged. With these, and with power increased to 105 hp, the brand achieved success among an eccentric clientele seeking both sportiness and exclusivity. With the modernly styled, elegant 406, released in 1958 and powered by an engine enlarged to 2.2 liters, Bristol laid the foundation for a modest period of prosperity in later decades. Incidentally, that engine was also used by the sports car brand AC.
This year, we are celebrating Bristol's 80th anniversary in a Concours Class. We have already registered some beautiful, unique Bristols.
Ecomaxx: the fuel of the Pre-War Sprint

As in previous years, Ecomaxx is the fuel partner for the Pre-War Sprint. In addition to the impressive speeds and beautiful sound of the classic cars, Ecomaxx Classic Car Fuel makes it much more pleasant for drivers and visitors to enjoy the Sprint.
This alkylate petrol is 99% cleaner than regular pump petrol and also burns almost odourlessly. This allows even the oldest classic cars without catalytic converters to run cleanly, and no one suffers from smelly exhaust fumes. Ecomaxx is specially developed for classic cars and is therefore free of ethanol and other harmful additives. This makes Ecomaxx the only logical partner for the sprint.
